SUMMARY:Neuromeditation: Focus for Depression
DESCRIPTION:NeuroMeditation tools enable us to determine the styles of meditation that are most useful for a specific “neurotype”. A thoughtful combination of Focus Meditation and Compassion Meditation has been identified as a powerful tool for improving symptoms of depression. \n\n\n\nIn this workshop you will learn the basic neuroscience of conditions such as depression and how we can stack powerful styles of meditation strategically to reach our desired “brain state” of a more open\, positive\, and activated mind state. Dr Tarrant has been studying meditation and the brains of people who meditate for 2 decades using EEG. EEGs stands for Electroencephologram and measures electrical activity in your brain using small electrodes which are placed on the surface of the skin. NeuroMeditation techniques are designed to give you tools and a scientifically based structure to achieve your needs and goals\, even if you’ve struggled with meditation in the past.
