SUMMARY:Living the Experience
DESCRIPTION:Living the Experience is a spiritual\, interactive reenactment of the Underground Railroad. Patrons are able to step inside the shoes of African seeking their freedom in Lancaster County and learn about courageous local abolitionist who aided them in the area. Each ticket includes the reenactment\, a southern style meal and access to local vendors on site. Our December production will focus on enslavement during Christmas time. A story of faith\, this production will be like no other. Immerse yourself into history like never before. Come live the experience!

Our production has been running for 27 years and housed in the historical Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church. Patrons get the chance to step into the shoes of Africans seeking their freedom in the 1800’s in Lancaster. They will also hear about events that happened in the county and testimonies from local abolitionist from the era. Each ticket includes the reenactment\, a southern style meal and access to local vendors on site. You’ll never experience history like this. Come make our story\, yours!
